A two-year programme of superconducting accelerator magnet R&D at PSI, implementing the R&D roadmap towards a robust Nb3Sn ultimate-field demonstrator magnet by 2026, and developing technologies for HTS accelerator magnets that could exceed the field reach of Nb3Sn, operate at higher temperatures, or both.
