ProgrammeCHART 2025–2028
Nanosecond high-voltage pulsers are an essential technology for the new generation of light sources and for the damping rings of future colliders. Drawing on advances in semiconductor knowledge and simulation capabilities, the project pushes the limits towards faster, higher-voltage beam injection and extraction systems. It develops the semiconductor switch and the necessary circuitry in parallel, arriving at a robust and effective HV nanosecond pulse generator.
